The transition sound (default percussion) does not coordinate with the metronome. How do I adjust this?
    Thank you

    Hello Don!

Could you please specify what you mean under “does not coordinate”? Is that some sound bug that you see happening, or is that the sounds don’t match well?

If first, please make sure it’s not that http://pranabreath.info/wiki/index.php?title=FAQ#Sounds_not_working.3F (second screenshot set)

    Hi Nadia.
I would like to be able to coordinate the timing of the percussion transition sound to the metronome.
As the breath phases become longer the amount of metronome “beats” become more and more important. I would like the transition sound to fall correctly on the metronome beat and not a 1/2 second before or after.
The breath pattern Harmony is nearly perfect.

    Nadia,
Clear Mind and Power are also perfectly coordinated. Anulom Vilom is poorly coordinated. The first breath cycle is correct. It is in proper rhythm. In cycles 2-5 the metronome enters each breath phase out of tempo; .02-.09 of a second after the transition sound. It is as distracting as hearing a drummer hit a cymbal before or after the beat. Proper coordination returns in cycle 6.
Because this problem varies from cycle to cycle I am sure there is an adjustment that I must learn.

I believe I have found and fixed the problem.

    Nadia,
With Anulom Vilom and both Nadi Shodhana exercises the first 6 cycles contained fractional second graduating times which caused the asynchronous rhythm between the metronome and transition sound. All subsequent cycles were correct. I changed the first six cycles to match the same time length as the others.

Hi and thank u in advance for your response. I want to know why my paid for guru app isn’t on my new smartphone. I want to be able to transfer my progress, and I don’t know how to do it. I’m really new to smartphones, and I’m so dumb that I couldn’t figure out how to sign in to write this question without using Facebook, so I need some basic guidance–very simplified I mean. Thank you!

    Elizabeth,
It is very simple, you need to create “backup” to google drive on your old device. Than “restore” from google drive on your new device.
For that go to 5-th tab “Options” > “Data” > see group of items under “Google drive”.

    Regards.

It is not possible to achieve perfectly synchronized metronome and phase transition if you use fractional timing. Why ? Because it is not possible 🙂
Imagine if you have next phases in seconds

    inhale : retain : exhale : sustain
    4 : 16 : 8 : 4
All is going to be perfect. But imagine next:
    4.3 : 17.2 : 8.6 : 4.3
It is simple not possible because phase transition will occure after 4 seconds 300 milliseconds after start. And it feels like only 0.3 seconds elapsed from last metronome and you hear phase transition and for the next metronome you need to wait 1.7 seconds.
If you do not like such feature you can:
    1. Do not use fractional timing, only integer (but it is more difficult to increace complexity buy integer value and adapt to it)
    2. Turn off phase transition sound buy reducing its volume to zero
    3. Turn off metronome.
