Sound style tab is the a tab in Prana Breath app for choosing the sound style for each of the types of sounds. Some features are available for Guru version only.
Sounds styles are the special sound tracks for each and every sounds within the app.
You can find the following types of the style of the sounds:
- Background sound styles
- Metronome sound styles
- Phase transition sound styles
- Guidance sound styles
- Occasional sound styles
- Other sound styles
You can listen and download extra sound styles on the pages above.

What can you see and set in Sound style tab
In action bar
(from left to right)
- Back button that leads back to Sounds tab without applying changes
- The name of the tab — "*** sound style"
- Save button that applies your settings and brings you back to Sounds tab
In main screen
- Name of a sound style
- Menu button, that comprises the following items:
- "Share", that lets it to be exported
- "Edit", that allows to edit this sound style (disabled for default sounds)
- "Delete", option that lets to delete the entry (disabled for default sounds)
- Big purple "Plus" button on bottom left
Explore existing sound styles
Choose the sound style
- Tap on the sound name you're interested in, and listen to it. Note that all sound settings are applied.
- Press "Apply" on upper right.
- If it's a background sound style, you'll listen the preview of the sound of all 4 breathing phases.
- Tap on the menu button right to the name of the sound you'd like to share.
- Choose "Share" item.
- Proceed with an external app of your choice.
Edit the sound style
- Tap on the menu button right to the name of the sound you'd like to edit.
- Choose "Edit" item.
- Adjust the name or choose another file for a sound set if you wish.
- Press "Apply" on upper right.
- Note you cannot edit the default sounds.
Delete the sound style
- Tap on the menu button right to the name of the sound you'd like to delete.
- Choose "Delete" item.
- Confirm your choice.
- Note you cannot delete default sounds.
Get new sound styles
- Tap on big purple plus button on bottom left.
- Choose "Download" and see you're redirected to the wiki page, where you can preview and download new sound styles. Make sure you're online for this step.
- OR choose "Create" item.
- Enter the name of this new sound set.
- Tap on "File" item and find a track you need within your file system.
- Tap on Save icon on upper right.
- If you are creating a new sound style for background sounds, you are able to add a separate file for each phase. For that just tap on "For each phase" switch and choose some files.
