I am the creator, designer, and developer of Prana Breath app.
I’ve been practicing breathing gymnastics since 2008, and a couple years ago have been trying to find a convenient app, mainly to have my eyes closed and to have some statistics. I haven’t succeed in that, so I’ve decided to create my own app.
I’ve been working on this app in my free time, as I was a payed emploee. A few months of work – and in June 6th 2015 Prana Breath 1.0 was released! Later on, as the users kept asking me for some time-consuming features, I decided to implement Guru version, a payed version of the app, so I can have some financial support to devote more time to this project.
My goal is a million of people improving the quality of life every day through breathing.
And the goal of Prana Breath app is to help you to organize trainings in breathing gymnastics, and to provide an opportunity to see your progress clearly.
I use this app daily, and my “to-implement-list” is that huge that I wish I had 48 hours in a day ) My dear users all over the world keep adding more ideas, as well as the inspiration for my work.
I am Oleksandr’s wife, and his “right hand” in charge of user support on Google Play, forum and social media, as well as wiki-articles. I write all the texts you see in and about the app, and also do the translation to Russian and Ukrainian. Also we are discussing the app’s design and UI during (and sometimes instead of) our evening tea.
Honestly, once my husband had published this app, I didn’t think that could be more than a hobby, as I really underestimated how many people need a nice app for breathing gymnastics practice. But once the app gained its popularity and got so much inspiring feedback, I realized that’s exactly what is perfect for Oleksandr to do – to keep coding and enjoy the fact his work makes a difference. So I gladly help him in what I can!”
